Jon is one of the founding members of The Subourbons and performed along with Matt and Eric in the original power trio configuration of the band’s early days.

Jon’s early influences come from the more progressive aspect of rock music, with Chris Squire of Yes being a major influence. Blues was a relatively new musical style for Jon when he joined The Subourbons, and his style of playing has adapted well, balancing more traditional blues bass lines with lines pulled from his varied non-blues influences.

Various Rickenbacker, Fender, and Music Man basses. The huge bass tone comes compliments of his hands and Mark Bass Amps. For Jon, effects are an unnecessary distraction!!
