The Subourbons are a Louisville, Kentucky based group, specializing in both classic and deep cut blues music from artists such as BB, Freddie, and Albert King, Michael Bloomfield, Little Walter, Elmore James and many others.
The Subourbons formed in 2014 as a trio and now most frequently performs as a six-piece band including piano and horns.
The Subourbons bring a high-energy, improvisational, and creative approach and performance to their carefully selected material. Fans of traditional blues as well as more casual listeners appreciate the new approach and modern touch The Subourbons bring to the music they perform.
